Varsity Football Team "Lifting Grace" to be held on March 9th

Coach Rob Trifone and the Darien Varsity Football Team will be sponsoring their annual lift-a-thon to raise awareness and funds for the RE Children's Project.  The athletes need sponsors that will match the weight they lift with funds to support research into rasmussen's encephalitis.  For more on the event click here.

The RE Children’s Project is a 501 (c) (3) TAX ID - (27-1377807) organization devoted to Rasmussen’s Encephalitis, most importantly the search to find a cure. Rasmussen’s Encephalitis is a rare neurological condition that impacts children primarily under 13 years of age rendering them paralyzed on one side of their body and experiencing incurable epilepsy.  In many cases, the removal of ½ of the brain is the only solution to stop the uncontrollable seizures.
